WEEK 6



There are many benefits when we talk about the employment of call in teaching second/foreign language speaking skills. There is more freedom at the web to try new things for the students to develp many skills that they have. They can take the risk to try new thing in order to learn english. Also, there are many students that feel more confortable talking to a computer or doing something at the web than talking face to face with other people or dealing with real life, they feel more confortable by using the web. Computers can offer many tools to learn english, there are videos, texts, phragraphs, audio and video clips. They can practice the new language by talking to someone who is native speaker it would beacome easier for the pupil to recognize the mistakes or the right pronunciation, new structures that maybe the student doesn't know about it.

 When we talk about Using Original Video and Sound Effects to Teach English it doesn't mean to try to have a perfect lesson or use the most expensive tools or materials to create and deliver your class. In my case, I think that we can do it with simple, but effective activities. Teacher have to be creative not just about the class, the teacher have to be creative in the way that he/she talk to them or in the way that provides to students the class. In that case it would be a successful class combined all these things that we already discuss.

    Hi Alex, I really enjoy reading your log. I agree with you when you say that teachers have to be creative not just in the activities, instead in the way we teach. We have to remember that each student has their own way to learn and that is important to take into account that. Also, I think that videos are useful mostly in online classes because makes the class more interactive for students and also, it is a good idea to use a video as a reinforcement for students.

WEEK 7

According to the reading. We can be smart by using many websites at the Internet that can provide many ways to learn and develop the reading skills for students in this case we are talking about children's. We can create our own readers to provide them at the classroom and developing during the class. It is a benefit for us to create our own readings because we can control what we want in order to teach them that skills, if we want to teach them the ''The Farm Animals'' we can create our own reading, and we can do it with many topics.
